Panel Options
Safeway Steel Buildings are available with a multitude of options for exterior design. The buyer may choose from four standard panel configurations in a Galvalume finish or eleven colors. (see panel color options). Let our design coordinators help you develop a panel combination that will fit both your functional and budgetary requirements.
Purlin Bearing Rib (PBR) Roof Panels
Metal building components offers roof panels feature an extended “overlap” of metal (per above) that greatly increases both the strength and water sealing characteristics. Without this feature, roof seams can buckle under stress or load. A completely water tight and stronger structure characterizes all of our components.
Die Formed Ridgecaps
Safeway offers “Die Formed Ridgecaps.” These conform to all standard panel configurations and provide a much tighter seal at the roof seam. This contributes to greater energy savings, better pests control and moisture resistance. You can see (at right) how die formed caps create a much better seal when compared to overlapping caps.
Fasteners 
Not all metal building system providers offer cast aluminum zinc fasteners with each and every model. A Lifetime Warranty insures that no red rust will form on the zinc cast head. An EPDM sealing washer assures a waterproof seal even under harsh conditions and is protected from ozone and ultraviolet damage. The result is a longer lasting stronger structure that is quicker and easier to erect.

Painted trim is protected by a thin, strippable film applied to protect against scratches to the paint finish during transportation and installation. Film must be immediately removed from trim after installation. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight makes removal of film more difficult.
